What if I cancel my reservation?
There will be a $50 (per inflatable) cancellation fee. "IF WEATHER IS THE ISSUE" You can use towards credit for your next rental for up to a year from the day of cancellation.
Please keep in mind, once you have reserved an inflatable, we have set it aside especially for you,
and your inflatable is no longer available for someone else to rent.
What about bad weather?
We do not charge a cancellation fee for bad weather. You will get a rain check good for up to a year for your deposit. Please see our Weather Cancellation Policy below.
WEATHER Cancellation POLICY
Common sense must always play a part in our decisions of whether or not to set up due to certain weather conditions. Therefore, these rules are not hard-and-fast, never to be varied from. They are strong guidelines which we use to make sometimes tough calls that may possibly effect your event. Please know that we always make decisions with the utmost concern for your Safety and our Liability. Also, please know that we rely on weather experts to make these tough calls. Unfortunately, they are not always reliable. We thank you in advance for your understanding and cooperation.
What if it Rains?
In the Spring/Summer Season there is almost always a chance of rain. If there is 40% or less chance of rain, please plan on getting your inflatable. Rain is different than thunder storms....We do NOT setup with a high threat of thunderstorms.
If there is 50% chance of rain, we give our customers a chance to reschedule, cancel, or go on as planned. When you do not receive the inflatable there is NO CHARGE. If you do receive the inflatable, the full amount will be charged - even if it rains in the middle of your event.
If there is 60% or higher of chance of rain, PTJ will make the decision and contact you to reschedule, cancel your event, or watch and wait.
Again, if you do not receive the inflatable there is NO CHARGE.
Why? Quite simply, rain and vinyl may mix on a water slide, but jumping and flipping on a wet bouncer can cause serious injuries. While our moonwalks do have a roof, they simply can not stay dry on the inside when wet kids are in and out of them. Your safety and our liability is our main concern.
What if it's too Cold?
In the Fall and Winter Season the temperature must be 43° or higher before we can deliver, and we must pick up before the temperature falls below 43°. When we do not set up there is NO CHARGE.
Why? In the summertime when temperatures are very warm, the vinyl gets very soft from the heat(optimum bouncing). In the late fall & winter season the opposite is true; Cold temperatures cause the vinyl to get very hard and stiff (difficult to bounce on) and damage to the units can result from flexing the vinyl. It is also very difficult to pickup & roll vinyl inflatables in cold temperatures. Our employees (setup professionals) also become much more prone to injury when the temperatures get too cold.
What if it's too Windy?
In the Spring/Summer Season, wind speeds cannot exceed 20-25 mph, and wind gusts must be considered as well.
In Fall & Winter Season, wind speeds cannot exceed 15-20 mph. When we do not set up there is NO CHARGE.
Why? This is strictly a safety issue. Even though we anchor your unit securely into the ground, excessive winds can create a real safety issue if they get too high. We must also consider wind chill during the late fall and winter if the temperatures are close to the minimum required and the winds are approaching the maximum allowable.
Please let us know if you have any other questions.
Your Safety and Satisfaction is our main concern.
